Level 2 Helpdesk Technician

Job Summary
The role will require an individual with organizational skills and strong time management and communication capabilities. The individual will have customer-facing responsibilities and be experienced in the support and delivery of proposed solutions. Further, the candidate will ensure high quality service delivery for day to day networking services to the client.
Description of Responsibilities
- Act as the senior technical resource in resolving network and server related issues, including SQL server, Exchange, SharePoint and Windows 2000/2003
- Address mission critical issues on a daily basis to ensure the smooth operation of different technologies in use
- Provide planning documents for network installs and upgrades;
- Help plan and implement SharePoint solutions for clients
Qualifications
- Two Vendor Certifications (MCSE, CCNA, CNE, CCSE, etc.);
- Strong experience with networking technologies such as routing and switching;
- Strong experience with data management, backup and archival processes, and system performance monitoring and tuning
- In-depth knowledge of network services such as DNS, NIS, LDAP, Web, Email, FTP, Firewalls, VPN's, remote management, and network monitoring;
- In-depth knowledge of MS Windows 2000/2003 architectures;
- In-depth knowledge of Active directory, Windows 2000/2003 server and advanced server;
- In-depth knowledge of MS Exchange / SQL / SharePoint Servers;
- In-depth knowledge of remote access technologies (TS, VPN, VNC , etc)
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and work in a multi-tasking, high pressure environment;
- Strong communication, presentation, and client management skills required;
- Valid and current driver’s license;
