Solutions Architect

Background

Job Summary
The role will require an individual with organizational skills and strong time management and communication capabilities. The individual will have customer-facing responsibilities and be experienced in the support and delivery of proposed solutions.  Further, the candidate will ensure high quality service delivery for day-to-day networking services to the client. Lastly the candidate will be responsible to develop and deliver training on services and products to internal and external parties.

Description of Responsibilities

  • Ability to develop and present Statements of Work for projects.
  • Understand and communicate solution messaging at both a technical and business level
  • Provide industry expertise and guidance to clients & franchisees
  • Communicate technical solutions in a business manner
  • Develop and present custom demonstrations based on prospective client requirements
  • Assist in development of proposals and RFI / RFP responses
  • Remain current in industry and technology trends
  • Develop and deliver technical training
  • Participate in the Product Management process
  • Act as an escalation point for other technical staff in problem resolution

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Network Infrastructure (Windows DC, DHCP, DNS, WINS)
  • At least 5 years related IT experience primarily with a focus on Development Technologies
  • Strong Windows XP, Win7, 2003/2008 knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong knowledge of personal computer networks, equipment and software
  • Major network certification such as CCNA or MCSE
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with sales engineering and operations in a services company
  • Must have a proven record of delivering business value from Information Technology at an executive level
  • Candidates must have a deep understanding of markets, industries, business, customers, and technology. Work experience should involve a mix of business and technology consulting across the lifecycle of Information Technology 
  • Methodical and efficient problem analysis and resolution skills.
  • Candidate must have professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Candidate must be customer-oriented, self-motivated, ambitious and a team player
  • Candidate must have a valid Driver’s Licence and a reliable car
